Editing Services
I offer professional editing services for MBA Personal Statements, CVs, Reference Letters and any other application essays.
Having successfully completed the MBA admissions process myself and helped hundreds of other candidates with their applications, I am in an excellent position to know how best to present each candidate's unique strengths as well as what the admission offers want to see and hear in applicant essays.
I help both native and non-native speakers alike streamline their essays and paint themselves in the best possible light in their applications.
I have found that high quality editing services for graduate level program applications are virtually non-existent.
This final review by a skilled writer and someone who thoroughly understands the application process, from both the candidate and admission officer's perspective is critical and can oftentimes make the difference between a successful or non-successful admission.
I also provide editing services for Master of Finance Degree programs and other graduate non-finance Master Degree programs.
Editing Process
Step #1
Client sends documents for editing to me in a Word document by email. The initial email should clearly include the School Name, Essay Question, Word Limit, and any other formatting parameters (font, font size, spacing, page limits, etc.). The client should also indicate the service level required. Standard editing service is 48 hours, but I also provide rush service editing offerings of 24-hr, 12-hr, 8-hr, and 4-hr "immediate service."
Step #2
I receive the email and send back a confirmation email of the receipt of the documents to the client. In this email I will confirm my availability and the service level I can provide. The service start time starts from the confirmation email (not from the time the client sent the original service request email).
Step #3
I edit the documents, correcting grammar, spelling, word choice, logic flow, and streamline the documents to fit the required word count limits. I send the edited documents back to the client for review.
My goal in all of my editing work is to give the client a completed document that he or she can then send on directly to the school, and the vast majority of my students do just that.
Step #4
If necessary, the client can send me back any additional information he or she would like to incorporate into the essay. This is normally a very quick step with a few final polishes to the document.
Step #5
The final draft is sent back to the client and the service is complete.
Step #6
Within 24 hours of the final draft, an invoice is sent to the client with payment details. Payments should be made immediately upon request and payments are normally made within 1-2 days of completion of the editing services. Clients are requested to send an email notifying me that the payment has been sent so that I can confirm receipt.

Essays, Reference Letters and Resumes are priced by word count with word count being calculated on the longer of the original documents sent to me or the final essays sent to the client.

Service Conditions

Prices quoted are for 48-hour service with 2 rounds of edits (if necessary)

Rush surcharges will apply per the following (availability subject to my current work load)
24 - hour service +50%
12 - hour service +80%
8 - hour service +100%
4 - hour service +150%

Each rush job will be treated as a separate project and the base fee will charged at an incremental rate of USD 75 per 500 words (or any part of 500 words); the applicable rush surcharge will be applied to this base fee

Essays received after 10pm (Shanghai time) will have service time start from the next day’s conformation email

Payment Methods
I can accept cash payments by bank transfer in the US (USD), in Hong Kong (HKD) and in mainland China (RMB). Please indicate your preference and I will provide you with the appropriate bank details.
I can also accept payments by PayPal and by credit cards via the PayPal system (payers must have their own PayPal account linked to their personal credit card). Please indicate if you would like to make payment using PayPal and I will provide you with the appropriate email address.
